    Hi Fred,

    good work in arranging and participating in today’s FOSS HIT / CCHIT meeting today at HIMSS09. I’m glad to see it happen. I dialed in and viewed/listened to the webinar, but could only do so for the 1st 25 minutes — then I had to get back to work. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to hear CCHIT’s responses to the great questions you had compiled. Do you know if the audio of the meeting was recorded and whether/where it might be available. Perhaps it will show up in the coming days on your fredtrotter.com website? I know you’re incredibly busy, but when you get a chance to catch your breath, perhaps you can post a summary of your take on the presentation for those of us who couldn’t participate.

    Hi Fred,

    John Haughton asked me to invite you to participate/evangelize our SEA-CHIT.org idea. The concept is to crowdsource a better “standard certification” for HIT products and processes. We want folks sharing simple, effective and affordable ideas facilitating connected Health IT to improve patient care and physician sanity.

    If you would, please post something through your communication channels letting your network know about the concept/site, and to encourage them to meet us on the HIMSS exhibit hall floor for a quick townhall meeting to catalyze the idea.

    We will meet at the A1 south gate to the exhibit hall next in between the Lawson and Allscripts booths. The “gathering” will last about 10 minutes…
