		<description>Very sad story.  I had the opposite experience.  I called the dentist and asked for them to not only tell me the pricing, but to check with my insurance company so that I knew how much I&#039;d have to pay compared to the insurance company.  They happily did it for me (at least that&#039;s my impression).

I went in for my first visit today.  As long as I don&#039;t get a surprise bill in the mail I&#039;ll be happy.

Sadly, what you describe sounds like the Just Brakes model where they give you free pads and then charge you up the ying yang for all this other &quot;safety work&quot; that you really don&#039;t need.</description>
